We are known for taking photos of families in beautiful light and scenery. Many families contact us saying that they saw a friend’s artwork hanging on their wall and they would like to have something similar to their family. What they’re often referring to isn’t your ‘typical’ family portrait, it’s an environmental portrait.
The best way to describe environmental portraiture is to show you:
These are all portrait of families. But they’re also portraits of places and a times. And they’re the sort of portraits which work well as a big piece of wall art because:
- They’re not ‘in your face’ because the family is set back in the scene
- They’re artistic and will add something special to the room you hang it in
- They’re natural and real, but still beautiful.
What do you think? Would you want an environmental portrait on your wall of your family?
