Over the past few months, we’ve been working on a gorgeous new project called Teddy & Me, celebrating the special attachment children have with their toys. Having now completed all the portrait sessions, and the design of the book, we are doing the very last thing: deciding which child + ‘teddy’ is going to star on the front cover! AND WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!
How to vote
We have done a mock up cover for each participating family (siblings have been put together for the cover competition to keep it fair) and we are giving YOU the opportunity to vote for your favourite!
The design with the most votes will be THE COVER for our amazing book!!! As a bonus, this means that the lucky family with the most votes will have not just ONE photo in our book but TWO, because we will choose a second image to go on their feature spread.
Plus, for taking the time to vote for your favourite cover, you could win a $400 Heartstory Family Photography Experience for your own family! How cool is that?
Voting is open to everyone over 18, but you can only vote once!

- Only one entry per family/IP address will be accepted.
- Entrants must be over the age of 18.
- Entries close at midnight Tuesday March 9th, 2021.
- The winner will be notified by phone on Wednesday March 10th, 2021, and announced on social media. The winner will be the lucky cover star of our soon to be published book!
- Five lucky voters will be chosen to receive a Heartstory Portrait Experience of their own. These winners will be notified by SMS on Thursday March 11th. The $400 prize is for an outdoors or studio Heartstory Family Photography Experience (worth $200), and $200 credit towards photographic artwork.
