We have photographed another 48 fantastic Canberra kids (a total of 99 across both volumes), who will feature in Volume 2 of the Canberra Kids book, and now we need to choose which fantastic Canberra kid/s will star on the front cover!
We need your help!
Vote for your favourite and the kids with the most votes will star on the COVER of our amazing book!
Plus, for taking the time to vote for your favourite cover, you could win a $400 Heartstory Family Photography Experience for your own family! How cool is that?!
How to vote
Review the covers designs* in the slideshow below, make a note of the name/number you want to vote for, and then scroll down to complete the voting form!
Voting is open to everyone over the age of 18, but you can only vote/enter once!
Please note, some families have 1 child in the book, others have 2, 3 or 4. In the interest of fairness (because no-one likes squabbling over who’s piece of cake is bigger), we have designed sample covers featuring the kids from each family as a collection, rather than the individual kids.
*these are sample designs only. Once we have the winning kids locked in, we’ll design the perfect cover!

Voting Terms & Conditions
- Only one entry per family/IP address will be accepted.
- Entrants must be over the age of 18.
- Entries close at 12noon Tuesday October 25, 2022.
- The winning family of the cover competition will be notified by phone on Wednesday October 26, 2022, and announced on social media. The kids from the winning family will star on the cover of Volume 2 of the Canberra Kids book and will receive an additional signed copy of the book.
- A small selection of voters will be chosen to receive a Heartstory Portrait Experience of their own. These winners will be notified by SMS no later than Friday October 28, 2022. The $400 prize is for an outdoors or studio Heartstory Family Photography Experience (worth $200), and $200 credit towards photographic artwork. Prize packages must be used by 31 March 2023.
- Prizes may not be substituted for any other product or service (such as a wedding photography package) or used in conjunction with any other promotion, gift certificate or discount, and are not redeemable for cash.
