Heartstory in partnership with Momento is offering free photography for NSW families who have lost everything in the 2019/2020 bushfires.
We have thought long and hard about what we can do to help. And this is it.
We know how to look after families. We know the healing power of photography. We believe that family photos are one of the most important possessions you can own.
How it will work:
If you are located in NSW and have lost your home/property/belongings in the bushfires, please apply via the form below.
Families will receive a completely free family portrait experience, including:
- A photography session with one of Australiaās best family portrait photographers (Katie or Jeremy from Heartstory)
- A beautiful printed photo book generously provided by our wonderful friends at Momento. This is a tangible precious keepsake, but one that is transportable and convenient while you rebuild your lives.
- A USB with your complete portrait collection.
We understand that the number of families we can help is only a drop in the ocean of the homes lost and lives upturned, but for those families it will be something truly special. And while other assistance efforts are directed to practical things, we would like to help hearts heal by creating new memories for families in need.
Please note:
- To begin with, we can give this gift to 10 families. We will be able to offer more in the second half of the year.
- Sessions in the first round must take place by 30 June 2020.
- Itās possible we will receive some applications that we are not able to accept because of geographical limitations. We will turn off applications once we have received 10, and put out another call down the track we’re not able to fulfil them all we need more.
- As we are based in Canberra, we will most easily be able to service families who have relocated here, however, we can also service parts of the NSW south coast during the Easter school holidays.
