We first met Katie in 2010 as we were eagerly awaiting the birth of our first child. I had wanted some maternity portraits to document this special time, and really loved her natural style of portraits. On a sunny late afternoon in spring, we met her in a beautiful leafy spot, chatted and laughed and had a very relaxed portrait session. The resulting photos were better than we could have imagined, and since then, Katie and Heartstory have been part of all our family’s important moments – the birth of our daughter, our engagement and wedding, and then our little family of four. At our most recent session, Jeremy was so funny, our three and five year old laughed the whole time and didn’t want to leave. We always have complete trust in Heartstory to beautifully and reliably capture our special family moments, and yet Katie and Jeremy still manage to blow us away every time with the quality of their work.
