This year the state awards came around quite early. We were barely back into the swing of things after our summer break before it was time to get stuck into our entries. We pushed ourselves to the absolute max this year and entered two categories each: Travel and Family. It’s funny how many of our peers asked us why we were competing against each other! We never see it as a competition. Whoever wins, whoever gets awarded, no matter which way it falls: it reflects on our business, our relationship and our passion for what we do. We are a team in every way, and we always will be.
This year it just so happened that we shared the winnings perfectly and won a title each!!!
Jeremy won 2016 AIPP ACT Travel Photographer of the Year with a gold award and three silver awards.
Katie won 2016 AIPP ACT Family/Portrait Photographer of the Year with a gold distinction award, a gold award, a silver with distinction and a silver award. She was also a finalist for AIPP ACT Travel Photographer of the Year!!!
It is an absolute thrill and we are so proud to have won Family Photographer of the Year for the third consecutive year, as well as winning it in NSW the year before that!!!
After the national awards in August we will share a small selection of our images, but for now, you’ll have to try and decipher them from our certificates below.
