If you’re one of those gorgeous people who gets excited like a little kid about decorating and baking and fairy lights and the smell of pine trees and Christmas carols and wrapping gifts and advent calendars and making sure the kids believe in Santa for another year, we have one more thing for you to get excited about this Christmas!!!
For the very first time, Heartstory is offering Christmas Mini Sessions in our Belconnen studio!
Yes, really.
They are going to be SO. MUCH. FUN you will think all your Christmases have come at once. This is what they will look like:
What’s included:
Christmas Mini Sessions are $250 per family and include:
- a 15 minute session with Katie in our gorgeous Christmas themed studio set;
- 3 high resolution digital files of your choice; and
- every child receives a little gift (age appropriate, up to 10-12 years).
Extra files and prints can be purchased on the spot, straight after your session OR just pick your three and wait for your download!
These special mini sessions will be held on two November dates only and we expect them to book out very quickly!

Christmas minis are for everyone!
You can include the whole family, or just the kids, it’s totally up to you! There’s no Santa making the little ones cry, just a magical Christmas set to make everyone feel good!
Is it baby’s first Christmas?
Our Christmas set is perfect for bubs born in the first part of this year, just like our own little Augie. Or if they’re born in the second half and they’re not sitting yet, you can hop in with them for some Christmas pics! What a beautiful way to remember this special time!
A few little rules to note:
- These sessions are for immediate family only, one session per family, and you cannot split a session between two families.
- Our set can accommodate families of up to 5 or 6 at the most (two adults and four young kids). If you have 4 kids or more, you might be best having the kids photographed without parents.
- We request no pets, for the preservation of our lovely Christmas set.

What about ‘normal’ sessions for Christmas?
If you’re not a fan of Christmassy stuff, all good! It’s a great time of year for an outdoors shoot and photos will always make amazing gifts, but you’d better put your skates on (pun intended) because even without the partridges and the pear trees, we are nearly booked out:
- November/December weekend morning/evening outdoor sessions are booked out, sorry!
- November/December weekday evening outdoor sessions are 75% booked (these sessions are timed for after school/work hours, in the beautiful evening light: the kids will love being out at this time!)
- November/December weekend studio sessions are 50% booked and weekday studio sessions are 30% booked (these sessions are most suitable for families with babies under one who are looking for baby friendly times and a fun, personality focused session)
