Katie from Heartstory took photos of our newborn baby, Josephine, in July 2010 and I will treasure these images all of my life. The sensitivity with which she handled our precious bundle, and her intuitive understanding of Josie's responses endeared her to us all. Katie understands 'moods' and investing in a Heartstory photographic session was one of the best decisions we ever made. Time goes so quickly and I look back at the photos of our week old baby in wonder. None of our home photographs captured the magic of this special time as well as Katie's images. I can whole-heartedly recommend Heartstory to anyone who wants photos with feeling. Thank you Katie.

Katie, I can't thank you enough for these photos. You have captured moments in time that we will always treasure. Not only will we enjoy these images of our little family when we are old and our memories need a little jogging, but our children and their children will have these reminders of how things were and can be – simple, natural and wonderful. The kids saw the photos and smiled as they recognised themselves, then they looked puzzled and asked "Where's Katie?". We all enjoyed the experience immensely and will certainly be back in a couple of years – that is if you haven't been snapped up by a London or New York agency! My advice to anyone considering having their family photographs taken by Katie is: DON'T WAIT, DO IT NOW! You will not regret it.

I knew they would be good, but these are amazing and beyond my expectations. I am so glad that we decided to go ahead even though the weather was miserable. I mean how many people have photos of their children in the rain anyway? These are truely unique, not to mention the kids thought it was awesome fun. You managed to capture each childs individual personality. You have also made a lasting impression on the kids who all agree that you are "beautiful, pretty, funny and nice". We will be doing this again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My husband and I feel so lucky to have found Katie to photograph our gorgeous baby boy Jacob. It is very hard to find a photographer who has artistic flair as well as a warm personality that just makes you feel so relaxed and comfortable! After a bit of thought, we decided to throw caution to the wind and asked Katie to take photos of my HUGE pregnant belly. My fears (of looking big and fat) flew out the window when we saw the results – the photos are just fantastic. It is still hard to believe that my baby was once so small that he could fit in my belly! It is also so nice to have a snap shot of my husband and me BEFORE kids – we look so spritely and well rested. I find myself giggling when I look at the sessions and remember how much fun we were having. Our baby is nearly 12 months old and I treasure looking back on the photos taken by Katie when he was only 10 days old –it is so hard to believe he was so tiny. Friends and relatives still comment on our gorgeous announcement cards that Katie designed and printed– what a fabulous idea.

Katie has captured our family at 3 points in time - when our son was 7 months old, when I was pregnant with our daughter and when our daughter was a newborn. We now have a beautiful photographic record of these important times. Katie has captured the beauty of our babies and pregnancy in ways that we could hardly see, let alone remember! The sessions were fun and relaxed, and Katie gave us endless support in selecting prints, storyboards and layouts for our walls. Katie gave us unique and stylish family portraits that we are very proud of - so much more than just great shots.
